Programs
An ecosystem. Not a single program.
Wenzo Academy is a structured, multi-layer innovation system embedded in schools and centralized Builder Labs — taking students from discovery, to execution, to recognition.
Flagship
The Full Academy
A year-round innovation pipeline running through the academic year (September–June). Students enter as Explorers and progress through structured milestones — School Clubs, Builder Labs, Demo Day and Pitch Day — all the way to Founder recognition.
School Clubs
Weekly in-school sessions.
Builder Labs
Saturday sprints at a central hub.
Demo & Pitch Day
Milestone showcase events.
Industry Trips
Real exposure to operating teams.
Mentorship
Founders, engineers, designers.
Recognition
Explorer → Founder pathway.
The weekly rhythm
Two touchpoints every week.
One inside the school, one at the central Builder Lab. Designed to compound — without overloading the student.
1 In-School Session / week
Inside the partner school. 60–120 minutes. Team check-ins, problem work, planning, and skill workshops led by Wenzo facilitators.
1 Builder Lab / Saturday
10:00 AM – 2:30 PM at the central innovation venue. AI & low-code workshops, build sprints, mentor sessions and cross-school collaboration.
The academic year
A structured journey from September to June.
Three terms. One pipeline. Every term builds on the last and ends in a real milestone moment.
Term 1 · Sept – Dec
Foundations & Discovery
- Onboarding into the Wenzo system and the Explorer pathway
- AI & low-code fundamentals — what they are, how to use them
- Problem discovery in students' own communities
- First small team builds, ending with a mini in-club showcase
Term 2 · Jan – Mar
Build & Iterate
- Design thinking, prototyping and rapid iteration
- Cross-school collaboration at Builder Labs
- Guest sessions from founders, engineers and designers
- Mid-year Demo Day — first chance to earn Tinker status
Term 3 · Apr – Jun
Ship & Pitch
- Real product builds with mentor support
- Pitch coaching, storytelling and presentation craft
- Industry field trips into innovation hubs and startups
- End-of-year Pitch Day — opportunity to earn Founder status
Milestone Events
Two events that mark real progress.
Demo Day
Mid-cycle validation. Students present prototypes to facilitators, mentors and judges. Outcome: either earn Tinker status or continue building inside Explorer.
Pitch Day
Final evaluation. External judging panel reviews real-world viability. Outcomes include Founder recognition, funding opportunities, awards and visibility.
Recognition System
A real journey — not just a certificate.
Every student knows exactly which stage they're at and what it takes to earn the next one.
Stage 01
Explorer
Entry stage. All students begin here. Focus on exposure, ideation and basic collaboration.
Stage 02
Tinker
Earned at Demo Day. Recognises problem identification, prototyping, iteration and team contribution.
Stage 03
Founder
Selective. Earned at Pitch Day for shipping a real product, leading a team, and pitching with clarity.
Stage 04
Sage
Leadership badge for ambassadors and peer mentors leading the next cohort of Explorers.
